Robert H.W. Boyer
RISE Research Institutes of Sweden
Robert H.W. Boyer is the project coordinator for CDCUL. He is the research manager of the Sustainability Analytics unit at RISE, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of projects related to the circular economy. Trained as an urban planner, he has published research in multiple disciplines with an overarching theme of transitions to sustainability through community-based strategies like sharing, collaboration, and servitisation.
Agnieszka Hunka
RISE Research Institutes of Sweden
Agnieszka Hunka is a Senior Researcher in the Sustainability Analytics unit at RISE. She has a PhD in environmental science and MSc in psychology. At RISE her research is focused on decision-making and consumer choices for sustainable products and services, and her main area of expertise is discrete choice experiments and other stated-preference methods. She has designed, conducted and analysed stated preference studies, including choice experiments and best-worst scaling in various fields.
Aemiro Melkamu Daniel
RISE Research Institutes of Sweden
Aemiro is a researcher in the Sustainability Analytics unit at RISE. He has a PhD in Economics, and his research focuses on applying and developing choice models to explain and predict individual decision-making behavior. Among the areas where he applied his expertise are; household electricity contract choice, commuters’ route choice, private car choice and individual preferences for healthcare plans. His recent research focuses on understanding consumer demand for circular products and services.
Anders Kyrkander
RISE Research Institutes of Sweden
Anders Kyrkander is a senior project leader in the Urban Development unit at RISE. He has a Masters of Architecture from Chalmers University of Technology. He has over a decade experience as head architect and head of urban works and planning in municipal administrations. In this capacity he has been responsible for housing provision, planning, marketing and permits for a multitude of urban development and housing projects. Prior to this he was a forerunner and designer of energy-efficient and sustainable passive buildings in his own company and project manager for the Swedish Center for Passive House Technology. His current work includes group development and facilitation of trans-sectorial collaboration in the public-private realm.
Sabina Jordan
ZAG
Sabina Jordan, PhD, Bachelor of Architecture, is Development Councilor in Department of Building Physics at ZAG with 25 years of experience in research. She specializes in sustainability aspects of built environment, particularly in energy efficiency of the buildings, hydro-thermally related issues within the buildings, envelope details and indoor environment, evaluation of sustainable buildings. She has been involved in several research projects in EU programs, and numerous national industrial research projects. She is particularly active in ECTP Committee Built for Life (B4L).
Anuša Babuder
ZAG
Anuša Babuder, BA is a Cultural Anthropology graduate, who joined ZAG for project support in humanistic research. Her area of interest is the relationship between people and built environment, design anthropology and topics related to conservation and repurpose of built heritage. While working at ZAG, she is currently concluding her MA studies in Social Anthropology, with a thesis focusing on effects of Covid19 pandemic on people and their experience of built environment at coworking spaces in Dublin, Ireland.
Marcel Rous
ZAG
Marcel Rous, MA is a project support officer employed at ZAG for 5 years. He was involved in financial management of H2020, HE, LIFE, EIT, INTERREG, UCPM and other projects funded by several funding authorities. Now he is starting research in national research policies with the focus on the support of stakeholders in the construction sector during their involvement in projects and obtaining of funding for ideas in the field circular economy and reuse of material.
Nika Stopar
ZAG
Nika Stopar holds Master Degree in Civil Engineering (Tongji University, College of Civil Engineering, Shanghai, China). She is researcher at ZAG, working on her PhD thesis in the field of fire response of structures. She is always striving to achieve a profound understanding of different (non)technical questions and tends to search for cause-and-effect relations after compiling ample information and data. Being detail-oriented, she tries to see issues from multiple different angles before making a final decision.
Nancy Bocken
Maastricht Sustainability Institute (MSI)
Nancy Bocken is Professor in Sustainable Business at Maastricht University, Maastricht Sustainability Institute (MSI). She is project lead of Circular X, a €1.5m, 5-year European Research Council funded program on experimentation with circular service models. Next to her main role, Nancy is also Fellow at Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Board member of the Philips Foundation, Advisor to the Dutch applied science organisation TNO and sustainable design agency INDEED. She co-founded her own sustainable business called HOMIE. Nancy holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge. She worked for University of Cambridge, Lund University Sweden, and TU Delft Netherlands, and was visiting fellow at Yale University and LUT Finland. Before, she worked for DHL, ING, and Accenture.
Joana Wensing
Maastricht Sustainability Institute (MSI)
Joana Wensing is Assistant Professor at the Maastricht Sustainability Institute exploring the behavioural foundations of sustainability transitions. Her research focuses on understanding how to motivate individuals to adopt sustainable behaviours by using methods such as discrete choice experiments. She is trained as a psychologist, holds a PhD from University of Bonn and worked as a post-doc at the Urban Economics Group at Wageningen University, and as a visiting scholar at Michigan State University.
Andrea Armstrong
Maastricht Sustainability Institute (MSI)
Andrea Armstrong is a Researcher at the Maastricht Sustainability Insititute. She is a social scientist, awarded her PhD in Geography in 2010 (Durham University, UK). Involved in many EU Horizon and UKRI research projects in areas such as urban sustainability, climate change, extreme heat risks, nature-based solutions and citizen engagement, Andrea has experience of inter- and trans-disciplinary research. She is co-founder and research director of Silent Spring Consultants and a guest researcher at the VUB, Brussels.
Jenny Holmquist
MKB
Jenny Holmquist, environmental strategist, will be the project leader for MKB and the work will be conducted in cooperation with the department of business development at MKB. The department of business development will be represented by their customer innovation staff.
Carl Andreasson
MKB
Carl Andreasson works with Business Development at MKB, leveraging over four years of experience in facility management at the company and a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Management from Malmö University. He oversees projects focused on enhancing internal processes and customer satisfaction. Carl is dedicated to implementing innovative solutions that align with MKB’s long-term strategic goals in his work.
Pernilla Svensson
Krook & Tjäder AB
Pernilla Svensson has a Masters Degree in Architecture (Chalmers University of Technology). She has more than 20 years of professional experience in both the private and public sectors, encompassing all stages of the construction process, from early sketches and feasibility studies to final design. Assignments have included schools, housing, offices and city planning. She has also worked with building permits and associated activities for the City of Trollhätten. Since 2021 Pernilla is employed by Krook & Tjäder AB.
Miloš Šturm
ZTIGR
Miloš Šturm is the director of ZTIGR. He has many years of experience in the field of energy in buildings, especially in air conditioning, heating and cooling (HVAC) systems. During his business career, he was the director of IMP Klimat, the leading IMP TIO company in Slovenia for the production of air conditioning systems and distribution elements in buildings. He was HVAC Division Manager at HIDRIA. He has been involved in several research projects in EU programs and many national industrial research projects. He is currently the director of the Association for Sustainable and Innovative Construction.
Valter Čebokli
ZTIGR
Valter Čebokli is the project manager at company Hidria Rotomatika. He has been working in the field of sustainable construction at ZTIGR for many years. As part of ZTIGR, Valter takes care of organized procedures and contacts with members, connects activities and follows current developments in the field of the circular economy, especially in the construction industry. He is particularly committed to solutions that are friendly to people and nature.
Igor Milavec

Igor Milavec, Bsc, Director of WPFA. He has over 36 years of working experience, mostly on leading positions; He is Member of Government Strategic board for Forest Based Industry, Director of the Wood Processing and Furniture Association and Director of the Wood Industry Cluster. He has managed several projects and has also experience form international R&D projects.
Erika Valentinčič
WIC
Erika Valentinčič, MSc, Assistant in WIC. She has 12 years of working experience, mostly in research work and trainings. She has acquired certificate of project management. She has also experience form several international R&D projects (H2020, Interreg, IEE).
